The WAAW Foundation Scholarship continues to open doors for female university students across the continent, helping them pursue STEM degrees without the financial pressures that often limit access and potential.

Beyond funding, the scholarship fosters leadership and community impact. Scholars are encouraged to participate in STEM outreach chapters on their campuses, creating a ripple effect of inspiration for young women and girls across Africa.

WAAW Foundation seeks applicants who demonstrate financial need, strong academic performance, leadership, and a passion for community service.

Eligibility at a glance:

💡 Female students of African origin, living and studying in Africa

💡 Enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program

💡 Pursuing a STEM-related course

💡 In 1st or 2nd year, or 3rd year for 5-year degree programs

💡 Able to demonstrate financial need

💡 Strong academic record

💡 Proven leadership and volunteering experience

💡 Under 32 years old
