Dapsadek Consulting is currently recruiting on behalf of a reputable insurance brokerage firm in Lagos for a senior leadership role.

The organization is seeking a highly experienced professional for the position of Deputy General Manager (DGM) – Insurance Account Management, within its Client Services/Corporate Accounts function.

Location: Lagos, Nigeria
Reports To: Executive Director

Role Overview:
The successful candidate will oversee the end-to-end management of key corporate and multinational insurance accounts, serving as the primary relationship manager for high-value clients while ensuring excellent service delivery and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the full policy lifecycle, including broking, issuance, renewals, claims, and endorsements
Build and maintain strong relationships with key corporate clients
Lead and supervise a team of account executives
Provide technical input on underwriting and tailor coverage solutions
Ensure adherence to internal processes and regulatory standards

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Insurance or a related field
Professional certification (ACII or CIIN)
Minimum of 10+ years’ experience in insurance broking or underwriting, with focus on account management
Strong knowledge of policy wordings, claims handling, and client servicing
Proven leadership, communication, and relationship management skills
