Applications are now open for the 2026 AI & ML Scholars Program by Udacity in partnership with Amazon Web Services, offering learners worldwide the opportunity to build in-demand Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning skills.

This fully funded programme is designed to equip participants with practical, industry-relevant knowledge in AI, including emerging areas such as Agentic AI, while connecting them to a global community of up to 100,000 learners.

Programme Structure:

Phase 1: Challenge Phase (March 24 – June 24, 2026)

Open to up to 100,000 participants globally
Based on the AWS AI Practitioner Learning Plan
Hands-on, self-paced training using real AWS tools such as Amazon PartyRock and Amazon Bedrock
Covers core AI concepts, generative AI, NLP, computer vision, and responsible AI practices
Participants who complete the phase receive a Certificate of Completion and 3 months of AWS Skill Builder access

Phase 2: Udacity Nanodegree (August 4 – November 4, 2026)

Top 4,500 learners (based on assessment performance) advance to this fully funded stage

Future AWS Agentic AI Business Professional
Future AWS Agent Developer
Includes project-based learning to build job-ready AI portfolios

Eligibility:

Open to individuals aged 18 and above
No prior AI or ML experience required
