Applications are now open for the 5th edition of the Media Innovation Programme (MIP) by MTN Nigeria, delivered in partnership with the School of Media and Communication Pan-Atlantic University.

This fully funded six-month certificate programme is designed to equip media professionals and content creators with the skills, insights, and networks needed to thrive in today’s rapidly evolving media and technology landscape.

In commemoration of MTN Nigeria’s 25th anniversary, this year’s cohort has been expanded to 25 fellows, reflecting a continued commitment to strengthening Nigeria’s media ecosystem and supporting the storytellers shaping public discourse.

Programme Highlights:

Academic sessions at Pan-Atlantic University
Industry engagements with leading media and business professionals
International study visit, including sessions at the University of Johannesburg
Exposure to media, technology, governance, and economic development across Africa

Who Can Apply:

Media practitioners and digital content creators across print, broadcast, and digital platforms
Individuals with a strong commitment to innovation, impactful storytelling, and professional growth

Since its launch in 2022, the programme has trained a growing network of media professionals who now occupy key roles across leading organizations and continue to shape narratives across the continent.

This initiative remains one of Africa’s leading media capacity-building platforms, combining academic depth with real-world application to prepare participants for leadership in the industry.
